Chris Rapson - Chair

Chris has resided in the Bay of Plenty since 1990 and has been active in cricket as a player, coach, team manager & administrator. Chris recently served three terms on the Northern Districts’ Cricket Board and chaired Bay of Plenty Cricket for several years before stepping aside in 2011.  He continues to be a commercially appointed board member of Bay of Plenty Cricket Association and is a Trustee and the current Chairman of the Bay of Plenty Cricket Trust.

Chris is a member of Tauranga Sunrise Rotary, is a former Business Manager at Bank of New Zealand and Westpac, and now owns and operates Rapson Loans & Finance; a Tauranga based home loans and business finance brokerage business. Chris also undertakes directorship & governance roles for several Bay of Plenty based businesses.

 



Neil Craig

Neil Craig is Chairman of Craigs Investment Partners and NZSX-listed Comvita Limited and is a director of both Pohutukawa Private Equity Limited and Pohutukawa Private Equity II Limited.  Neil is also Chairman of Enterprise Angels, the Bay of Plenty angel investing group and a director of the New Zealand Social Infrastructure Fund.  Previous roles include being a founding director of Mighty River Power and Dairy Equity Limited, and being on the Board of the New Zealand Stock Exchange. Neil founded Craig & Co Limited in 1984 and was instrumental in developing it into the national sharebroking and investment advisory business now called Craigs Investment Partners.
Craigs Investment Partners is 49.9% owned by Deutsche Bank and 50.1% owned by staff of Craigs.  

Privately, Neil has interests in the horticulture industry and is an avid cricket follower including his role as Trustee of the Bay Oval Trust in Tauranga.  In 2013 Neil was appointed to the board of New Zealand Cricket.

 


Craig Greenlees

Craig Greenlees has lived in Tauranga since 1983, when he purchased his 1st Kiwifruit Orchard, previously working in the NZ Forest Industry. Craig is Joint Managing Director of DMS Progrowers a Kiwifruit Post Harvest and Management company he co-founded in 1989. He is a CA of the CAANZ (Chartered Accountants of Australia and NZ) and Member of the NZ Institutes of Management and Directors. Previously Craig was a Director of Zespri for 15 years including 6 as Chairman, and is currently Chairman of Avocado Oil NZ Ltd and a Director of a number of Kiwifruit associated businesses. A passionate follower of Cricket, Craig enjoys cycling, skiing and travel

 



Fraser Lellman

Fraser is a qualified Chartered Accountant and business advisor, and is the Managing Partner of BDO Tauranga. He manages a portfolio of business services clients across many industry sectors and acts as professional Trustee to a number of Trusts. He has been in CA practice for over 20 years and is the BDO Partner responsible for strategic planning and business growth development. He is the past Trust Secretary of one of NZ's largest consumer energy Trusts and past Board member of Priority One which is Western BOP’s leading economic development agency. He is a current Board member of Northern Districts Cricket Association. Fraser was born and bred in Tauranga and played cricket for Bay of Plenty, Northern Districts A and Development sides until injury meant retirement at age 22.  He was also an Auckland age group representative in both cricket and rugby. He is married with two children and his interests include supporting his family's endeavours, bagpiping, trout fishing and motorcycling. He is involved with a number of community, school and sporting organisations, and a Rotarian. Cricket, reading, eating and coaching kids sports are some of his passions.


Stewart Browne

Stewart Browne arrived in Tauranga in 1968. Since 1972 has been owner operator of a large electrical business in the Bay of Plenty.
Stewart represented King Country Teams in Rugby and Cricket.  He represented Tauranga in Rugby & Cricket, captain of the Bay of Plenty Colt teams.  He has also administrated in Cricket, Golf, Rugby over the years, including a stint as President of the Greerton Rugby in the 1980’s, now a life member of the club. Founder and Chairman of Vision Charities for 21 years, Stewart has been a supporter of many charities and sporting organisations over the last 30 years.
